This is gonna be a short and sweet review because I honestly forgot about this movie 2 hours after seeing it. This is some inoffensive holiday junk food for the eyes. I genuinely believe this was likely written by AI during the strikes. I think we’re going to see a big uptick in movies written by AI for that reason. Then there’s the acting. The performances were so stilted and awkward. I am not a fan of the Rock or the projects he chooses, but I love Chris Evans Lucy Lu and J.K. Simmons. So I thought maybe they would save it. Sadly they all phoned it in as well. This could’ve been a 1.5 hour Netflix movie. Not something that needed a wide release and 2 full hours. Luckily I had a very cheap ticket so I didn’t have to spend full price for it. The people next to me talked the entire time which would have bothered me more if it was a better movie. I think they were probably as bored as I was. Just go see any of the classic Christmas movies they’re showing at Emagine. 4/10.
